Description
Six prints, which have Honore Daumier?s stylized HD initials on them, appear to be genuine and likely date from the 1840s. The prints are all in good condition and are in modern frames. They depict domestic scenes from mid-19th century French domestic life. On the back of some of the frames is an English translation of what Daumier provided as the title of each vignette. Along with these six comes a bonus of an unattributable framed print of French youths smoking in front of a "No Smoking" sign.
