Item Description
Author and Bright School parent Amy Hicks will provide a Writer's Workshop for a class, visiting with one of her therapy dogs Apollo or Zeus.
This item entitles the winning bidder to one 45-minute classroom visit (grades prekindergarten through five), a personal copy of Character Tales, and one autographed book for each student in the classroom.
Must take place in a school in the Chattanooga area. This workshop can be held outdoors with appropriate social distancing!
Local author and Bright School parent Amy E. Hicks wrote Character Tales - Learning to Respect the Rules. It is the true story of dogs Larry and Daryl and how they learned the importance of following the rules.
Amy has more than a decade of experience incorporating therapy pets into classroom lessons.
