Jerry Bennett is a leading international clay artist specializing in porcelain. His work is in many galleries and museums throughout the world. His work explores form, texture, and pattern as they interact with light in translucent porcelain. Each piece is formed individually by hand-building and painting the surface with underglazes, then firing under a clear glaze. Each piece is unique. He is an active artist in Philadelphia, PA running the Two Rivers Studio.
This handmade Dogwood Vase is perfect for cutting flowers from your garden! Jerry Bennett uses the finest porcelain available mixed by hand in his studio. He explores fragile, highly textured surfaces using fibers mixed with wet porcelain. This fiber clay technique, which has rarely been done, allows for many visual opportunities. When fired translucent porcelain remains.
