Katie Wild is an artist currently living in Plainville, MA. She graduated in 2012 from UConn with a BFA in painting and illustration and a BA in English. Wild completed a post-baccalaureate year at the SMFA in 2013, followed by an MFA in painting at UMass Dartmouth. Since earning her Masters in 2015, she has received two grants from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation and five artist residencies. Wild has taught at UMass Dartmouth, Mass College of Art & Design, CCRI, and BHCC.

There is something innately human about feeling alienated. It is often felt negatively, but this is a tragic conclusion. I wish to suggest that feelings of alienation are in fact what make each of us unique and beautiful.
