“We stayed a weekend here with our two young kids to go skiing in at mount sunapee. This inn is just wonderful. The place immaculate, the breakfasts made by Dennis are beyond outstanding. The attention to detail throughout was so refreshing. Dennis is a wonderful and kind host. He has two gorgeous and very friendly dogs that made my kids fall in love with dogs - they are previously both pretty nervous around dogs, but Grace and Angel are so calm and adorable! Besides being close to skiing, the inn is by a very charming lake- I’m a runner and really enjoyed running on the quiet country roads by the lake in the morning. “Lovely quaint inn -in New Hampshire. It is on a lake which is very scenic and lovely. There is a road that goes around the lake for walking as well which we enjoyed. The Musterfield Farm Museum
Located 1 mile and an easy walk from the inn, this 18th Century Homestead and restored buildings still has a working bicentennial farm. Civil War reenactments and Old Fashioned Farm Days in the summer, Ice Cutting on Kezar Lake in the winter are just a few of the charming activities at this historic spot.

Visit our nearby craft beer breweries that produce some of the best-tasting beers in the world. In fact, The Alchemist Brewery brews Heady Topper, a double IPA that has earned the distinction of best-tasting beer in the world according to Beer Advocate magazine. Also nearby are Lawson’s Finest Liquids and Hill Farmstead Brewery, brewers of many award-winning beers. And lets not forget the Flying Goose Pub, less then 10 minutes from the inn.

Hike the Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway
A 75-mile loop of hiking trails, surrounding Lake Sunapee, crossing Sunapee, Ragged, and Kearsarge Mountains, and maintained by Greenway volunteers.
