This handmade necklace from The Embera' Chami tribe from Colombia is beautiful. The Embera tribe is an indigenous people of Colombia. They have recently lived in the Choco' department of western Colombia and in Panama.
The beaded necklaces for women are called Olamas in the Embera culture, meaning the path that travels around the neck, and are highly symbolic. They tell a story of the journey of life.
