Item Description

Spend two nights in Dummerston, Vermont at the 1895 former home of Rudyard Kipling's coachman, Matthew Howard, on the grounds of the National Historic Landmark Naulakha property that was once home to the Nobel prize winning author.

Today, Kipling's Carriage House has been thoughtfully restored for overnight accommodations based on The Landmark Trust USA's unique preservation stewardship model and provides overnight accommodation for 4 people in 2 bedrooms with 1 full bathroom. The charming and historic retreat is on a quiet country road but only minutes from artsy Brattleboro, VT.
