Item Description
Walk into the circa 1802-03 Daniel Abbot home and be transported back in time with up to 5 of your friends! Popularly known as “the Father of Nashua,” Abbot commissioned John Lund to build a 'colonial-style home.' He lived there until his death in 1853. After Abbot’s death there were a series of owners including George, Perham, a proprietor with the West India goods trade, and William Spalding, a prominent banker and a collector of antiques. In addition to the outstanding architecture of the Federal style home, the furnishings are fine pieces collected by the Spaldings. Now the home is owned by the Nashua Historical Society as the Abbot-Spalding House Museum.
Staff and volunteer docents will share unique points of interest to your group of visitors on this private, guided tour!
