Artist Statement:
Odd Cod is a playful dive into memory and imagination, inspired by One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. I use layered surfaces and symbolic imagery to explore personal history, and this wooden fish blends bold color, storytelling, and whimsy with a nod to nostalgia and wonder.
Artist Biography:
Tammy Nohelty is a Beverly-based mixed media artist exploring memory, symbolism, and transformation. With an MFA and MEd in Visual Art, she brings a layered, intuitive approach to painting and collage, often using familiar forms from nature to tell personal stories.

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
