“Open Sea Clan”
is a poetic sculpture that celebrates the bond of family as a shared journey across the vastness of the ocean. Like a pod of sea creatures navigating the tides together, this piece evokes unity, resilience, and the natural rhythm that keeps us connected—even in open waters.
About the artist:
Luis Carlos Ávila, born in October 1972 in Baja California Sur, is an artist known for his unique way of blending the raw strength of metal with the gentle soul of nature. He grew up in Los Cabos, surrounded by untouched landscapes, wildlife, and the ocean — elements that deeply shaped his connection to the natural world and became the core inspiration behind his art.
