Item Description
Ray-Ban is a sunglasses & eyeglasses brand, originally founded in 1936 by Bausch & Lomb in the US. In 1999, it was sold to the Italian eyewear giant Luxottica Group. Some of its most iconic models include the Aviator (for pilots originally) and Wayfarer.
Ray-Ban operates brand-stores (flagship or retail stores) where you can try on and buy Ray-Ban sunglasses and eyeglasses directly. These stores typically carry a wide selection of their styles (classic and new), offer lens customization (prescription, polarized, etc.), and sometimes customization of frames. They also serve as service points — returns, adjustments, warranty issues etc. depending on region. In the United States, there are about 37-38 Ray-Ban stores spread across several states. Ray-Ban is strongly associated with pop culture: military aviation origins, classic films, etc. They have continued to innovate, e.g. with Ray-Ban Remix (customization) and with smart/AR/connected eyewear in partnership with Meta.
Use your gift card to shop any of Ray Ban’s multiple stores for glasses of all kinds.
